THE PROCEDURE FOR ESTABLISHING A FOREIGN INVESTMENT ENTERPRISE IN CHINA

1)     Prepare a project proposal (for EJV’s & CJV’s only) and obtain approval from the approval authority;

2)     Prepare Feasibility Study Report (for EJV’s & CJV’s only);

3)     Choose a company name and apply for reservation thereof with the Administration of Industry & Commerce;

4)     Prepare the Articles of Association and Joint Venture Contracts;

5)     Prepare a Statutory Declaration of Compliance;

6)     Submit the application to the Companies Registry together with a covering letter;

7)     The Companies Registry approves and issues a Certificate of Incorporation;

8)     Apply to the Business Registration Office for the issue of the Business Registration Certificate;

9)     The incorporated company is ready to operate.
